I have good news and bad news. The good news is that the Collatz server is back online. The bad news is that I don't know why it wasn't running in the first place as there is no indication in the logs as to why it failed/shutdown. I'm hoping it was just a loose power cord which I've swapped out with one that fits tighter in the new power supply.

I have noticed that my work units are running the same and uploading fine and I have plenty of work. The points don't seem to be posting though. I don't know what this might have to do with your recent troubles but just thought I would let you know.

My computers are doing the same amount of work but it seems I am getting half the credit, or less.

Gràcies i salutacions cordials.

I second what Mark is observing: Since 2013-05-25 I merely get a third to half the credit as usual.

Runtime per task hasn't changed, and since my computers did not run out of work and they are 100% dedicated to collatz conjecture, they deliver a constant ratio of completed tasks per day.

More-over the number of inconclusive and pending tasks is normal for all of my computers.

So the question is, what else is going wrong since the system has been fixed.

Dr. David Anderson happened, he is the original and still main programmer of Boinc and thinks ALL projects should give exactly the same amount of credit and HARD CODES that into the Server software that Slicker just installed. Slicker is now working hard to negate that coding with coding of his own. He has said when he is done he will then write a script to adjust all the credits being given out from the new install and the fix.

I also find out that there is missing CREDIT with my production.

My computer work 24/7 on Collatz.

I produced 89 millions credit on Collatz.

It process 62 workunits per day (62 x 23 min 20 sec). With an average of 4198.46 credit per workunits. It should represent a production of 260,304.52 credit per day.

Of course if during a day, validation pending increase like today of 3 workunits (3 x 4198.46 = 12,595.38) I should have produce 247,745.14 (260,340.52 - 12,595.38).

The result today is 69,284, THERE IS 178,461 CREDIT MISSING (247,745 - 69,284)

FOR YESTERDAY PRODUCTIION WAS 73,766
FOR PREVIOUS DAY PRODUCTION WAS 77,272
FOR PREVIOUS DAY PRODUCTION WAS 166,892
FOR PREVIOUS DAY PRODUCTION WAS 202,404
FOR PREVIOUS DAY PRODUCTION WAS 173,425

Can you explain me where my missing production is?

Sorry. The Intel GPU update meant re-merging the standard code which uses CreditNew with the Collatz code and I missed one key line of code which meant that even though the proper credit was displayed, the CreditNew value was applied. That has been rectified and the appropriate credit granted.
