On Friday, the Collatz server was upgraded in order to fix a problem with Intel GPUs getting work. Unfortunately, when it was upgraded, I missed one key line of code when merging the Collatz specific code back into the BOINC server code which lead to a reduction in credits. That has been rectified and the credits have been adjusted. I apologize for any inconvenience.

Thank you for fixing that. I hope my messages were not too much of an annoyance. I have an i7 machine with an ATI 7770 card in it and I can't get any work from Collatz for it. If I could get Collatz wu's on this machine, I would migrate Milkyway to a different machine. Is there something I am doing wrong. I just upgraded the ATI software on this machine and still can't get wu's. Please advise.

Upgrade to BOINC 7.x.x. OpenCL was not supported in earlier versions and the only WUs sent to HD7xxx GPUs are OpenCL.

Slicker, regarding BOINC software upgrades, it is sort of an either/or for me.

I have a batch of HD 4850's -- since they support double precision calculations, they can do MW work units -- *but only* when running the 6.10x versions of the SETI software. To run MW on newer double precision cards, then one must shift to the 7x software.

There is also an interesting interaction with Moowrap and the newer cards (say 7750's) -- along with newer BOINC software. That combination doesn't seem to work, but it will work with Collatz and POEM and World Grid when they have work. So I have a couple of HD7750 + newer BOINC software combinations running. On those I run Collatz, POEM, World Grid for GPU processing.

I also have one 4850 set up with BOINC 7x software -- that one works with Collatz and Moo.

It would be nice to have a maintained BOINC ATI GPU matrix of versions of AMD software, with versions of BOINC software, AMD GPU's, and BOINC projects...

Thank you Slicker for solving the credit problem. The adjustments you made are showing up in my daily totals as they are higher than my average.
