Bye,

It usually helps if you also list the error you are seeing. I'm not sure if a fix to the badges code fixed it or whether you are referring to the invalid XML that is displayed.

At a glance, the line:
<name>[AF>France>Ouest>Normandie]The Stress Man (-:</name>

should really be:
<name>[AF&gt;France&gt;Ouest&gt;Normandie]The Stress Man (-:</name>

However, if I change the code to encode the reserved characters, any other code that uses the XML will be broke because the BOINC XML parser doesn't decode the reserved characters. Rather than using an XML parser library which adheres to the specifications, someone decided the BOINC developers should reinvent the wheel and write their own. Unfortunately, the person that wrote it either never read the XML 1.0 specification or read it and then forgot/ignored most of it.

So, the best thing to do is not to assume it is XML. Just think of any BOINC output as ASCII text that pretends to be XML but really isn't. That's what I've done to eliminate the frustration of not being able to use any type of real XML DOM parser with it.

Hi,

Thanks for your return. It's ok now with the personal statistic page.

Bruno,
