Seems the newest Android update is not allowing either NativeBOINC or Collatz application to run correctly and crashes immediately. It crashes on other projects, so I suspect something in NativeBOINC needs to adjust permissions in it's running of projects.

It took 2 reboots and a reinstall of NativeBOINC and now all is working again.

The BOINC client from Berkeley (form the Google app store) works fine and did not need to be re-installed.

The BOINC client from Berkeley (form the Google app store) works fine and did not need to be re-installed.

Problem is I could not manage it the same way as I do NativeBOINC. I use an OLD program called BoincView that I love and can control all normal computers, but the ARM version of BOINC would not work, so I always had to do everything locally, which was not optimal. I am unsure if this has been fixed and I am not willing to try, since I am very comfortable with what I currently have.

(You start getting older and set in your ways.)

I attached two different droid devices, using Boinc downloaded from the Goggle app store, and while it installed just fine on both, neither is getting units to crunch. Both are plugged in and turned, both have been adjusted so the battery on needs to be at 50% in order to crunch, both have been put in the default preferences with Micro selected as well as get any others if none are available. Yet still not units, I just do not know what else to do.

I got both of them fixed!! I needed to adjust the way the individual settings on the device, basically the defaults said not to use the device unless 100% of the cpu was free.
