So,

can this project at this point do something about the table at

http://www.ericr.nl/wondrous/delrecs.html

or are there still gaps in the WU progression to fill in / post-processing to do etc? Can it be confirmed that the November 15,2013 number (delay 2739) is a record?

It was quite easy to find a number,

1588491718191274443511

with delay 2741, so I guess the number from year 2013 (delay 2739) is just a record within this project. So where to find fresh info on the A006878, [1], series? What is the current reasonably confirmed highest record which one of us crunchers may break? I fear the probability of finding the next number any time soon is very slim...

It could contribute to the table the numbers it has crunched but since it didn't start at 1, I can't confirm that every number was checked. This project picked up where the previous 3x+1@home project left off. I can't vouch for their records but they do have downloads of all their records. Or at least they used to have it online.
