Anyone running one? upgraded from a GTX 970 and whilst its faster it does not seem almost twice as fast which it should be considering the compute power.

Realised I forgot to update the config file when swapping to AMD so I have added this :

verbose=0
items_per_kernel=22
kernels_per_reduction=9
threads=12
sleep=1

Currently got 3 units going on the one card and its reporting about 24 hours per unit, sound about right?

Ok just done some tweaks and it looks like one large unit will now take 4 and a half hours!, before adding in the config file it listed as 17 hours, wtf

Collatz works better with AMD cards, obviously it works with Nvidia cards too, just not nearly as well. Most projects have a preference as not all programmers are proficient in both kinds and due to the way the cards, and their software, are designed.

On the other hand, with the default settings, it can run on an 8400GS with 128MB RAM.

The large WUs are 4096 times larger than the micro WUs run by Android devices and some Androids take 4 hours to run a Micro WU.

It's a good idea. Now my old and slow graphics card can do something here.

Hi Slikker
On the third hand, I still can't get the sieve to complete on my Ion :-(

I would be interested to hear from any other fury owners, 4.5 hours seems amazing for a large unit?

What are the 980ti's / Titans getting these days?

Under Statistics, top computers I found a 980 here:
http://boinc.thesonntags.com/collatz/show_host_detail.php?hostid=308693

And here:

The top gpu link didn't work for me.

I may need to borrow some more hands!

It looks like I may need separate OpenCL 1.0, 1.1, and 1.2 versions. That would require dropping the other non-sieve apps and also dropping either several currently platforms or plan classes in order to support triple the number of OpenCL plan classes per platform.

Hmm unit times are now 7,5 hours, is it normal for times to fluctuate between units?
