It's a false positive, most a/v programs go thru this periodically. Just exclude the Boinc directories from scanning and it will stop. Then if you have a REAL virus it will try to get out of the Boinc directories and then get caught by your a/v program, but all false positives will be stopped.

Slicker has worked hard to stop these false positives, but apparently some just won't stop changing things. If you crunch for Bitcoin Utopia you have to turn of the "identity" part of AVG or it will flag their files as a virus.

Even though the apps were created several years prior to the virus and I can, on a fresh install on a clean machine, re-compile the apps such that they are the exact same bit for bit, the false positives has been a PITA. Startcom won't re-issue the SSL certs because the site is flagged as infected by Google and will remain so for another 30-60 days as they require 90 days before it is considered "clean". The latest apps with some of the sieve kernel optimizations no longer register as infected. If there are others still being flagged, please let me know the exact version, platform, and plan class so I can replace it with a new build.
