Does it work at other projects? A ram upgrade on the machine may help too, 4gb of ram on a pc with 4 GTX690's is probably pushing the heck out of things.

Hi,
Thanks for the answer.
The PC has 4GB of RAM.

other projects to run without problems.
Eintein @ Home: 4 GPU WUs per GPU Core = 16 WUs simultaneously.
POEM @ Home: 4 GPU WUs per GPU Core 1 WU, no problems.

I hold to the WUs, which are in the local cache and launch only a WU = calculation error.

GTX 980, R9 295x2 or HD 7990 no problems.

greetings

Each project writes its own code for irs apps, obviously this one is different in some way than the others and doesn't like something.

The app never even launches. If it did, you would at least see a line with the app name (e.g. Collatz Sieve) in it. That means that the issue is that it can't launch and that would be due to a missing C++ runtime library.

If running 64-bit windows, make sure both the 32 and 64 bit versions of the latest VS2012 C++ runtime are installed. There's a like on the project home page.

Hello,

I've got the same error on my new installed PC with a GTX 970:
Collatz error: -1073741515 (0xffffffffc0000135) Unknown error number

All problems are fixed if you install the VCredist packages x64 and x86 from Visual Studio 2012, not 2015, 2010....

Have a good crunching.

Tschau Jochen
