Internet access was lost last night due to the magic smoke being released from a capacitor in the firewall's power supply. The backup firewall will be used until I replace the primary firewall.

Interesting -- thanks for the note.

In my set of workstations -- all the Windows 7 workstations can see Collatz for uploads etc.

However, the Windows 8.1 and Windows 10 workstations can't access the project.

Is there a firewall setting on the older backup firewall which needs an update?

OK -- a reboot of the Windows 8.1 and 10 systems solved the access issue. Sort of curious.

I, too, had to reboot my Windows 10 machine to solve the access issue and clear the backlog.

Same here, I wonder if BOINC Stats need to do something as
it does not appear to have updated since yesterday

I can't reach the site with my home ISP since the firewall failure. Can with an anonymous proxy and typing this note. Seems something about the firewall my ISP doesn't like...

Tried restarting but no help.

Or more likely the old firewall is rejecting my ISP?

The backup firewall was randomly dropping packets as it couldn't handle the traffic load even though it was managing fewer than half the connections for which it is rated. This morning, I switched from the supposed business class NETGEAR ProSAFE to a Linux based firewall and it appears to be working better.
