Cleaning out the garage. Changing over to a walking video now that it's getting colder. Gonna do the gastric bypass after the first of the year to treat reflux.

In other words, nothing, LOL.

WHOA that's ALOT!!! I may have to do the same thing for acid reflux if my meds ever stop working, so far they are good though! The good part of that is you know what it's all about and you will lose even more weight because of the surgery.

As for the walking video if that works for you can you send me a copy, I want to sit in my recliner and watch it and count that as exercise too!!

And once you are done with your garage come on out to the beach and you can do mine!!

Nice try. I've had enough of painting for a while. And we're not even finished.

And today I woke up to snow. Not quite sure how I feel about that.

It is an easy video. Some of the talking is annoying, but I just mute the sound and walk away.

Bad to say, but I'm looking forward to the bypass. More weight loss is always better. They say about 65% of current weight. That would make me very happy.

It's okay I'm not even close to being ready for all the stuff,you have time to be in the mood again. ;-)

WOO HOO!!! I love snow, as long as it's at not at MY place!

That sounds like a plan!!

Why "bad to say"...isn't it a good thing to finally be done with the reflux and it's meds?

Wow! Never would have guessed that the main participants here would all be battling acid reflux! Mine is exacerbated by a hiatal hernia. When I eat a bit too much, stomach slides up and I can't lay down (which really sucks at night :) ) Can't get it fixed because of esophageal issues.

Me, I've got a TON of leaves to rake. And it's raining. :(

And Mikey, I did a post over in Number Crunching: GPU Errors. If you have any advice, I would welcome it.

Kathryn, best of luck with your surgery!

Thanks Steve. I'm sure it'lll go well. Reflux is annoying for sure. I'll be glad to get off the omeprozole. I also have a small hernia.

Today is let's replace the garage door opener. Ours let out its magic smoke.

WOO HOO!!!

Steve I will look but no guarantees. Oh and no leaves for me, they clear cut the landscape when they built my neighborhood! I now have two palm trees though.

Thanks, Mikey. I see some of the results of your "resource reallocation". Your RAC is up quite a bit. No longer catching up to you.

Nope AND I just put in some optimization tweaks too and I'm now doing units in half the time as before on some of my pc's.

On top of that I got 2 more gpu's today, 750Ti's, for 2 pc's that don't have gpu's in them right now. That's the biggest they can take so it is what it is. They don't do alot here, or anywhere, but they are better than nothing.

I'm only using my gpu's here though but cpu's don't do much by comparison. Right now I'm working on some badges at PrimeGrid with one pc but the 36 and 48 hour workunits are LOOOONG!!!!!

I don't consider my 4 pcs to be a farm. But they all have multiple gpus in them.

You are right...4 pc's is not a 'farm' but having multiple gpu's in each one means it acts like one.

Then I won't mention the 12c Xeon machine or the dual 12C Xeon machine :)

That's okay I don't mention my 5 dual quad core xeon machines very much either, they have 16 cpu cores, with hyperthreading, each.

Steve have you played with the optimization settings yet?

And I got my one little PC doing 7 E@H at a time plus two GPU. It gives me something to do. I wonder how slowly BOINC would move on my little Pi.

Read the Number Crunching Optimization thread for where to put the numbers:

AMD 1060
verbose=0
kernels_per_reduction=48
sleep=1
threads=10
lut_size=17
reduce_CPU=0
sieve_size=30
cache_sieve=0

AMD 1070
verbose=1
kernels_per_reduction=48
threads=8
lut_size=17
sleep=1
reduce_cpu=0
sieve_size=28

I didn't see anything for the 950 exactly.

Those should cut your crunching times by about 50%.

Your Pi will work, even here at Collatz I think, they used to have micro units for those kind of things anyway.

As for your gpu's unless you have newer ones than those that used to be here then I don't have any optimized tweaks for you.
