My toes are cold. THere is a brisket in a cooler on the back porch just waiting for game day.

Get some hunting socks with batteries in them!! I LOVE brisket too!!!

Who do you want to win? I hope the Eagles do but am worried the Patriots may be too good.
Either way though I am winning!!

I got me some fuzzy socks.. They aren't warm enough some times. I tend to get really cold fingers and toes. It's called Reynauds (sp?). Just add it in to everything else :)

I could care less who wins. I only found out yesterday who was playing.

But I am winning today. It was 10 last night with a wind chill of -2. Thank $deity for big quilts.

I know how you feel,I get cold too!!!!!

Happy Superbowl Sunday. I could care less who wins. I'm just here for the food.

But I'm winning here...

I hope you can dig your car out today or at least some of it today, with a snowfall that big there's often no where to go even if you do dig it out until the trucks can plow enough of the roads to get people to where they need to go.

BTW it was 60F at my place yesterday and it could be slightly more than that today. I moved here because I got tired of shoveling!!

I am winning!!

We've been more cold than snowy this winter.

I spent the last two days nursing a migraine. I'm famished (no food for 2 days) and I get to eat some yogurt. I'm trying not to send my tummy in a tail spin.

Can you have a shake? Are you in the 'snowmeggadon' zone this time around?

My brother wanted his boots from home. I guess it's going to snow.

No to shake. The texture would make me vomit. I stuck to yogurt and my tummy is ok now.

PS: I win!!!!

There was no snow. I don't know what my brother was thinking. :)

I went a while when I had a shake for lunch everyday. Then I thought, why torture myself when it wasn't needed :) This time I'll probably go with Premiere Protein shakes. Surgery date is March 5th. It's all most time to start the preop diet. *sigh* I know it's worth is. But still *sigh*

LOL!!! I know EXACTLY how you feel, but it is oh so worth it!!!! I too did the Premeir shakes pre and post op and also the Pure Protein brand too, I found the Frosty Chocolate ones DELICIOUS!! 3 or more times per day means a little variety is a good thing. SF popsicles and SF jello are good changes of pace too.

I do the shake for lunch sometimes now just so I can be more 'normal' in my dinner choices. The other night we went out with friends so I had eggs for breakfast, a shake for lunch and then chicken strips for dinner, and the scale still went down!! I had one of my protein muffins for morning and afternoon snacks.

Are they going to make you stop your coffee for your procedure? They did me and I switched to tea, I did it slowly over a few weeks and it was okay. I'm now back on coffee though.

Yeah. On the preop diet. I only drink 1 cup a day and sometimes none. So, not a big deal :=)

That's good! I may not be here as regular as I was because my wife needs an operation and then recovery and the hospital she's in is 5 hours away, she was on vacation with a friend, so my time here will be intermittent.

Right now I am winning!!
