How are the CPU tasks suppose to rum? If I have a 4 core processor, and the task is multi-threaded, shouldn't it run close to 100% on each core and not a total of 100% across 4 cores?

Rum? I lived in Antigua for 3 years. I love rum! :-)

1 WU per core, but BOINC does not not use one core per CPU, so 1 WU on a quad core = 25% on each CPU. Collatz is not multi-threaded. Only AQUA will use all avaiable cores for a CPU at present. With Collatz, it will run 4 WUs on a quad at a time. AQUA runs 1 WU on all 4 cores at about 95% efficiency, so technically, running 1 per core at 99% is better anyway.
