And my GPU clients are downloading CPU tasks....

This host has no ATI , it has nVidia only...

I would rather not update to 6.10 yet.

If this is the case, then the project should deny work to any other BOINC version..
Just a thought.

I did upgrade 1 box and have only GPU selected for this host..
and am getting this message

9/17/2009 14:41:09|Collatz Conjecture|Sending scheduler request: To fetch work.
9/17/2009 14:41:09|Collatz Conjecture|Requesting new tasks for CPU
9/17/2009 14:41:34|Collatz Conjecture|Scheduler request completed: got 0 new tasks

I really don't want CPU tasks on this host.. only nVidea GPU please.

And yes I have GPU clicked yes and CPU clicked no.

It will get gpu work soon. It took mine a few tries before it would ask for gpu work.

Maybe so, but it is asking for CPU work..... I don't want CPU work on this host...

Boinc might be asking for cpu work but the server knows you don't want it.
The GPU has to get a low short term debt, then it will ask for gpu work.

edit
After installing 6.10.5 run for a few mn. Then exit and restart.
Make sure boinc is seeing the gpu and the driver ver.

It might be a longer wait if you don't have boinc 6.10.5 installed.

I'm getting computation errors on both 32 bit systems, one is xp, the other is Vista, both are using 6.10.5. Running CUDA only on these machines. This is one task, collatz_1253201549_1679_1 .It says output file for task is absent on both machines. The xp machine has an 8400gs in it and the vista has a 9500gt. I've not had any computation errors b4 so I have no idea whats wrong? Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks. All drivers are up to date.

Bruce. Reset project. Fixed mine. Abort Wu's before you reset.

That error you are seeing is likely caused by the switch to the CUDA 2.3 application. It needs a new cudart.dll which doesn't get downloaded correctly (probably because you have already a file with this name).

As people have reported, a project reset and a restart of the system (or that in reversed order) apparently solves the problem.

Edit:
Have written a bit too long on that message, but glad to see it working for you now :)

Seems kinda stupid to be to the very LATEST version to work.... but I'll give it a try.

I updated to the latest and still yells at me for not having an ATI GPU...
