I'm not finding any preference settings that would let me finish the current work, but stop after that.

Any hints?

(I'm running on some new hardware, but need to finish up and get it out to the end user soon)

In BOINC manager,
a. select the Projects tab.
b. Select the project on the right.
c. click the "No New Tasks" button.
d. When the tasks are complete, you may need to click the Update button to return the results.

I have set my project to NO NEW TASKS yet I cannot stop new tasks from coming in and this computer is being shut down so I will be forced to abort my tasks, which I am trying to avoid.

I have run the update and rebooted but no change.

Any thoughts or suggestions?

Thanks

I also tried suspending the new tasks cooming in but it just downloads another one.

As a result, I raised my computing preference to leave more free disk space than I actually have free which finally stopped the downloads, but something is still wrong.

Thanks

Please enable the sched_op_debug log option in your cc_config.xml file and report back what the BOINC event log shows.
