Although I have been crunching a long time, I am not exactly a computer wiz. I would like to run this new GPU with optimized apps, but am not too sure which files to download. Card will be installed on an Intel Q6700 (OCd to 3.2gHz), 6 gig RAM, Win 7 Professional 64 bit.

So,,,which files to download and how to install them??

You have to take the x64-release of collatz 2.08. If you have an actual amd driver on your system, you can take ATI/AMD Cal 1.04. If not take the older ATI Cal 1.03.

To install the app, take a look at readme.txt in the downloaded zip.

With AMD/ATI cards you just go to the amd.com website and on the far right is a 'find a driver' drop down section, make the choices for your card and system and download the driver you need, usually the first on the list is the right one. One word of caution though, ALWAYS give it a few days before you jump right into the latest and greatest driver, some are not better for us crunchers. Version 11.8 was not very good but 11.9 seems to be okay. After you make your selections and are at the download box if you scroll all the way to the bottom of that box you will see a link fro previous versions that will work with that set of choices, in case you want to try older versions.
