There was a power outage at 7:51PM CST on 4/6/2012 which lasted longer than the UPS. As I was out of town for the holiday weekend, I didn't have physical access until this afternoon. Everything is back up and running although it will probably take an hour or two for everyone to upload their workunits and get new work. The grace period for returning work has been increased to 7 days so any outstanding results that are past the deadline should still get credit it completed.

The server had been up for 195 days straight, so maybe it appreciated the rest!

I wondered where you had got to, so did several others on other projects.

This is the first time I have noticed anything happening to CC since I joined.

Hope you had a good Easter.

I posted to the BOINCStats and also the SETI.USA team's message board on Saturday to let people know it would take a couple days to get everything back up and running. I should have notified Bok so he could post something on the FreeDC stats site as well.

Maybe also look into posting on the BOINC project forums in the projects outage thread. http://boinc.berkeley.edu/dev/forum_forum.php?id=11 the thread is News on Project Outages.

I still seem to be having a problem with my results being "sent home" on one of three machines. The others seem to have transferred.

Restart the pc and see if it works then, sometimes during Server outages things change and a reboot of our pc's makes things sync up again.

Everything works fine for me, thanx Slicker, this has been one of the most reliable projects in the Boinc world, so some outages are normal and I also guess a boot after a so long uptime was refreshing =)

Nice to be able to turn of the heat in the house again, Collatz & the GPU's are taking care of the heating ;)
