The scheduler bug has been fixed, so anyone having trouble over the weekend getting work should now be able to do so.

While fixing the custom scheduler so it would send CUDA v4.2 tasks properly, some code that was not fully tested pertaining to OpenCL tasks was inadvertantly deployed late last week and was keeping hosts with AMD/ATI GPUs from getting work regardless of the type of work being requested. That has now been rectified.

Looking good so far, all my hosts but one are back in the game and the problem it developed doesn't have to do with Collatz per se.

Thanks for the effort troubleshooting the issue.

<edit> Just an FYI, I have two hosts which don't have usable GPUs in them and only do CPU tasks and they weren't getting work either. Whatever you did fixed that too.

Thanks for fixing. One machine downloaded only ati tasks (before it had ati & cpu, I'll see if it changes) and the other says the project is shutdown for maintenance??????? (pressing the update button after the other machine finished downloading the WUs).

Things seem to be back to normal here.
Good job too,
My two athlon XP `room heaters` in the back `bedroom` were loosing ground to the cold autumn nights without the GPUs to help :¬)

Thank You so much for fixing this!

Setting back to: mini_collatz: no (cause it is completed too quickly on HD 5870 M. with 800 ATI stream cores@700 Mhz )

Collatz unit lasts 57 minutes now.

(latest BETA driver has fixed *THIS*: the lose of old good performance... one unit was 1 hour 10 mins with new drivers lately, before Catalyst 12.9 BETA, at least for this device: ATi HD5870 M. )

*Namaste*

I know what you mean. Our natural gas bill was quite a bit lower last year but the electric bill was much higher -- higher than the difference unfortunately. That being said, my new laptop with a GTX 670M processor sure keeps my knees warm when it is on my lap. :-)
