Greetings,
Sorry if this is answered elsewhere. I spent a lot of time searching and found similar posts on other OS's but they didn't answer my question.

The short of it is that collatz is the only Boinc project I run that doesn't checkpoint. Which means after over a week of crunching, a power outage reset the project! GAH!

So now I've got three projects that are at 0.21% after running 8d 22:41:20 and they are all due in a few days. Guess which ones probably won't make it? ;-)

Is there any way to optimize Linux CPU? Or at the very least have it check point?

Thanks!
