Can someone explain to me how both of my GTX 1650s are outperforming my GTX 1060? One of the 1650s is even in an identical computer to the 1060. All of my hosts should be visible. If it would be helpful I could post some screenshots from GPU-Z in the morning (early riser and it"s getting a little late for me now). I do not believe it is a clock speed issue but could be wrong. I did notice the 1060 is at 85C (but not throttling) while the 1650s are at about 70C. TIA for any insight.

A couple of things pop out to me when I look at a valid task on 2 of your machines, one with a 1650 and one with a 1060...neither one is using the optimize codes so both are under performing other gpu's that are similar to them. Also they are both using different versions of the Nvidia drivers.

My 1660Ti is finishing one task at a time in about 520 seconds while your 1650 is taking about 1100 seconds for each task, while my gpu is faster it shouldn't be twice as fast.
Also are you leaving a cpu core free just for the gpu to use? If not try that and see if your units run faster.

I am using the optimizations file and I am seeing a similar result where my 1080 is matched in performance by a new 1660 series using less power. Both around 370 seconds on Win10.

I believe there must be significant compute improvements with Turing with regards to Collatz computation. It’s quite believable, the 10 series Pascal architecture is now 3 years old...
