One of my linux systems rebooted, not sure what caused it, but opencl no longer existed after the reboot.

I tried reinstalling cuda 384.run (or whatever I had there) and it failed to install, clearly some new kernel had been installed that was incompatible with the old driver for the GTX 1050ti.

I downloaded and install 390.59, got all kinds of errors, but managed to google though and get it workiing

Not sure how it happened but I read where I can stop auto updates. I assume this will stop future problems on my other systems?

Changed APT::Periodic::Update-Package-Lists "1" on two ubuntu into
APT::Periodic::Update-Package-Lists "0";

One of my systems has "14" where the "1' was. Not sure the difference but I set it to "0"

Is there anything else I should do?

Thanks for looking!
