I won, I won, I won...the last game so here is the next game started...enjoy!!

It is time for a new episode of that much-beloved pastime of Collatz@Home forum: "Last One to Post Wins"

For you newbies, here are the rules:
1. To participate in the game, you must post to the prescribed thread.
2. A post must consist of at least one word.
3. A participant may not have two or more consecutive posts in the thread.
4. The winner of an episode is responsible for organizing the next episode and for choosing the winner of that episode.
5. The winner may be chosen on the basis of the date/time of the post, the number of the post in the thread (50th post; 31415th post; ...), the presence/absence of a particular word/phrase in the post, or any other reason selected by the organizer of the episode. However, the organizer of an episode is prohibited from winning that particular episode.
6. Have fun! And everyone be safe out there!

I drove 3 hours yesterday, walked around the State Fair for 3 hours then saw my grandkids for a few hours
at their house, go to a hotel to watch the baseball game, then get up at 6:30am and go to breakfast with the grandkids
and then go back to their house and play with them until noon then drive 3 hours back home again. Then I sat down and watched
4 hours of car racing in about 3 hours, it was on my DVR, eat dinner and then I took a 1 hour nap. I'm still pooped
but am feeling a little better after my nap. I should sleep VERY well tonight after the baseball game is over.

Good News/Bad News...

Helped mom and dad get on Medical Baseline Assistance for PG&E, (Pacific Gas & Electric), due to EXTREMELY HIGH bills in the past year. Bill just got lowered by almost $200 this past month! <----- Good News...

Due to other money constraints, I have to cut back on crunching to further reduce the bill... <----- Bad News...

Just stopped Collatz on New Prometheus yesterday. RAC will now start to fall, I will then NOT be able to Post here after awhile.

I am switching computer use over to New Andromeda ONLY until further notice.

(Prometheus - i7 7700K on Win7 Pro x64. Andromeda - Mid 2010 MacPro 5,1 on High Sierra 10.13.6.)

Andromeda currently only crunches SETI, so, until I can bring Prometheus back on line I won't be crunching Collatz for quite a while. :-(

Due to RISING Electric Costs here in CA, our bill a couple months ago was over $500!!! We've already switched ALL of our bulbs away from incandescent first to compact fluorescent, and then mostly to LED. We turn off lights as we leave rooms, and do everything we can do to lower the bill. NOTHING has helped until getting on Medical Baseline.

Unfortunately, even though we now have the Electric Bill under control - the water bill is now over $500!!! (Three people in the house.) Again, we cut back on water usage as much as we can... I DON'T shower daily, I do laundry once a month, the only usage I have is the toilet and drinking water... When I shower, I do so as quickly as possible. I turn water off while brushing my teeth... Harder to do this while shaving due to needing to rinse the razor frequently...

CA is becoming NIGHTMARISH to live in! Moonbeam has made things WORSE by implementing rationing of water to 55 Gal per person per day! OANN News states that if you take a shower, flush a toilet once, and do one load of laundry that you use 57 Gal right there!!! Prior to this restriction, normal usage allowed was 90 Gal per person per day.

I can't imagine having to live like that!!!

I switched most of my bulbs to led's awhile ago too and also yell at my wife when she doesn't turn the lights off when she leaves a room. I also added an automatic light switch that turns the outside porch and garage lights on at sundown and off at sunup, it does it thru the longitude and latitude settings in the light switch. My electric bill is higher than yours was but I also have a bunch more pc's that you do too. I have two water meters at my house because one is for the inside and one is for the outside yard sprinklers. I did add a connector so I can put a garden hose on the sprinkler setup, that way it's a bit cheaper when I hand water things than paying for the sewer charges. My water bill is still MUCH less than yours is though.

I think OANN News was exaggerating a bit, most toilets only use 1.6 gallons of water or less to flush and some even have a double handle system so if you only pee it uses even less water. Most new washers use about 23 gallons of water per load with older ones using 40 to 45 gallons per load. As for the shower heads they make some low flow shower heads, you probably already have one, that limits the flow to 2 gallons per minute or less, so if you do turn the water off, or leave it at a trickle so you don't get scalded or frozen when it comes back on again, you really aren't using very much.

One of my cousins lives in San Diego and he's struggling too, he's actually talking about moving away from California because of the water problems, he did put solar panels on his roof though and said that helped with the electric bills. One of my other cousins lives in California too but I haven't heard him complaining just yet, he lives near Silicon Valley and has a very good job as a mental health professional. He used to be an engineer designing heart stents but it was too stressful so he went back to school for a new degree.

Let's see 200k per day and you have 1.1 million credits equals somewhere around 5.5 days!!
I HOPE it's not that fast!!

Try pizza crust made from cauliflower, chicken or even cheese, if you made your own crust you could also use
something like almond flour, no carbs in it, or even pork rinds as there are no carbs in them either.

I had chili for dinner last night, my neighborhood had an end of the season pool party with a chili/soup buffet. Odd numbered
homes brought bread/desserts while even numbered homes brought chili/soup. Everything was very good!!
I'm back to my winning ways before breakfast again.

Sounds delicious!!

We went out to a wings and fish place this past Friday and I had prime rib and for the last 2 nights I've been eating the leftovers!! It came with mashed potatoes and mixed veggies but I did not bring them home. Yes there were some left but I didn't need the potatoes and veggies aren't real good after reheating. It was a Queens Cut platter sized portion of prime rib and I ate maybe 1/3 of it at the restaurant. I used to be able to eat the Mammoth sized portion in one sitting but after losing weight I just can't anymore. The Mammoth Cut is 2 sizes above the Queens Cut in size!!

I had crab inside tortellini's I think, it was crab meat inside some kind of square pasta my wife bought.
She put some spaghetti sauce over it and it was pretty good.

For Seti to become what it is now is a shame knowing what it used to be!!
