My WUs are still crunching away, but not uploading. Each time a WU completes and attempts to upload, I get a "project backoff 00:30:00", and it looks like each completed WU adds about 5 minutes to the backoff time when they complete. Is this related, perhaps, to the issues above? |

Anybody got direct contact with Slicker? We don't want a repeat of last year's Thanksgiving fubar :( ![]() |

My WUs are uploading now, so perhaps someone gave the server a good, swift kick... |

Still seeing http errors at this end. Web site is glitchy and the Participants page has PHP errors: Notice: unserialize(): Error at offset 27970 of 28672 bytes in /home/boincadm/projects/collatz/html/user/top_users.php on line 95 Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /home/boincadm/projects/collatz/html/user/top_users.php on line 113 ![]() |

I also had server problems yesterday (30 April). Dozens of uploaded workunits weren't confirmed as usual. The last two dozen WUs weren't uploaded (at around 11pm local time = 9pm UTC) so I stopped crunching and went to bed earlier than usual although this Wednesday is a national holiday. When I resumed crunching this morning at 6:40 UTC all finish but not confirmed WUs were confirmed, not uploaded WUs were uploaded and confirmed immediatley. So I started this misty holiday with a plus of approx. 5.5 mio. credits. two of the finished WUs were marked as invalid. I cannot confirm errors while crunching. Since this morning everything is working fine for me. I also haven't had problems to continue crunching. Collatz WUs will be crunched within 4 minutes so I increased the amount of downloaded WUs to 2+2 days to be prepared for days with server problems months ago. Greetings Manfred |

I am today. All of my queued work units are pending transfer. Nothing new arriving. Was not able to even access the website until a short time ago and only on one of my computers. Have rebooted one computer and my gateway. Still no joy. |

Interesting. This machine just downloaded new work and I was able to manually retry uploading results successfully. My other machine still can't connect to the website or upload/download. ![]() |

If some people are able to report, perhaps there's an ISP load issue at the projects end? Might want to check your network... |

My two machines are wire connected to the same network gateway. This one is working, the other is not. My WCG continues to run flawlessly on both machines. No other issues accessing websites or work sites via VPN. I have also run tracert to boinc.thesonntgs.com. Address gets resolved and makes it through several hops from FL to IL via GA. It dies in Elmhurst, IL. Now it gets fun. DNS resolves to 2 different IP addresses on the 2 machines. I manually made them both the same and retried. Still the same - 2 different IPs. One works, one does not. Added the IP that works to the hosts file of the one that does not. Back in business finally. 73.44.243.151 works. 67.167.89.131 does not. ![]() |

I changed from the ISP's DNS server to Googles which can help if some IPs are working and others are not, and they hold different tables, then performed an ipconfig /flushdns to clear the table stored locally. It all uploaded now... |

Sounds like he's having cable company issues again then. |

Not sure what to make of this... my Windows hosts can't access the Collatz site and can't down- or upload anything. My Linux hosts can. Everything's behind the same router/modem. I first noticed this yesterday and then it worked for a short while on both again, but now it's back. |
