After a reboot, everything is working normally. Thanks.

The next workunit, 40249365, has failed the same way after getting rid of the lingering process. I'll try again after the next reboot, whenever that is. It will likely be within the next 30-45 days. Thanks.

Hi,

I've had three WUs in a row with the same unlikely-seeming error:

Reason: Out Of Memory (C++ Exception) (0xe06d7363) at address 0x000007FEFD7BB16D

This machine's workload has not changed recently. It has 1GB per CPU core (x8), no GPU BOINC processing, and runs at about 50% free memory most of the time. It's Windows 7 SP1 64-bit and is configured for automatic updates.

During these errors, there was an orphaned Collatz process lingering on the system that I have now deleted. I'll try another round of WUs to see if that was somehow related and post the results here.

Thanks.

largest: 2,396,744,047,173,444,576,371
highest w/o gaps: 2,394,878,317,251,975,193,715

That's great, thanks.

Having these updated automatically on, say, the server status page would be just perfect.

Thanks for running the project and entertaining suggestions.

Hi,

My wish would be a display of the range of numbers in progress at a given time.

By that, I mean the largest number covered by any work unit currently in progress (or even ready-to-send) and also the highest number examined that has no unexamined gaps below it (The contiguous range that is known to contain no counterexamples.)

The reason I ask is that the high-steps pages, while interesting, make it hard to easily see the overall project progress because of uneven delays in execution and validation.

Thanks for your consideration.
