Install the latest C++ runtime, both 32 and 64 bit if on a 64 bit platform. The links are on the project home page. Even though it doesn't tell you, a reboot is necessary afterwards.

Doing this worked for me.

My pendings dropped by 1/3 over night. That's a good thing!

Just curious. I see that all solo wus have now been sent. Will we be waiting until they are all returned before the solo work generator is turned back on?

Sorry, this is what I'm seeing:

minimum quorum 1
initial replication 2

What does that mean?

I just downloaded some fresh solos and the quorum is still 2.,,FYI

Would Changing The Quorum Now Effect Wus Already Sent Or Just The Unsent Ones?

Seems To Have Broken Loose Now. My Pendings Dropped From 825 To 140 In The Last Hour. Thanks Jon!

Jon, If You Need To See Solos In Pending That Are Not Validating, Look At Mine. I'm At About 780 Now And Growing. I Find It Curious That So Few Of Mine Are Validating, But I'm Not Too Concerned About It As I Know They Will Eventually...Al

You Are Right! I Now Have Over 725 Pending And Only 4 Have Validated In The Last 8 Hours.

I got my 7970 working on Collatz last night by using Atiman. I just let it do it's thing, then reinstalled 12.10. Worked perfect on my amd system

The above worked in bringing down the 2.05 WU and the system worked fine for approximately 16 hours, then blue screen again.

The interesting thing is that my old P4's with gt 430's work with all type of WU without incident. Maybe I'm just destined not to run Collatz on the new system? Any other ideas?

Thanks for all the help,

Al

I hate to admit, but I don't know how to do that. Link to info on setting up a 2.05 version opt app?

Thanks,

the <coprocs> section of the file you requested is above. See anything that might be causing the cuda23 problem?

Thanks,

The GTX 570 is processor 0, the GTS 450 is processor 1. The 450 is terminated with a dummy plug.

I haven't physically pulled the cards, but I have disabled the 450 and I get a whole que of cuda23 tasks for the 570.

SLI is not turned on in the bios that I can find. Actually I don't even see a mention of it.

I also run gpugrid and when the collatz cuda23's are running it doesn't make any difference if I'm running another project or not, the system fails. I have had no problem running seti, milkyway and gpugrid together.

Project has been reset, no change again. Continue get get only cuda23. Any other ideas or info I can post that might help solve this issue.

Thanks Al
