Silly question: In the directory C:\ProgramData\BOINC\projects\boinc.thesonntags.com_collatz I have my cc_config.xml file with an initial set of parms prior to fiddling around so as to find an optimal set of values.

However, according to the BOINC log, the file is not found when I asked BOINC to read the config file.

I am sure I am doing something very careless. Thoughts?

Your cc_config.xml should be located in the main BOINC data folder, because it is used to set client options. For individual project options you would use an app_config.xml, that file goes in the folder of whatever project you want to configure. That file can be used to set project specific options like number of GPU tasks to run concurrently.

The Collatz configuration file (whatever_application_you_are_running.config) goes in the Collatz project folder. The standard BOINC log will not report that it has read the file, but it will be read when the client/project starts.

Due to spammers creating so many fake user and computer records, the Collatz site now requires an invitation code in order to create an account. Contact me for the code. The code will at least slow the spammers down as I will change it as often as needed. In addition:
Users without any credit will be deleted.
Computers without any credit will be deleted.
Teams without any credit after will be deleted.

What is the best way to have new users contact you?

Not sure if anyone else is running Collatz in Linux, but I am coming up against a hard wall in my gpu.config for Collatz in Linux.

OS: Ubuntu 16.04
Driver: AMDGPU-Pro

I am successfully able to edit all options except for kernels_per_reduction. This value will only go up to 32 regardless of what is entered in the .config file. Is this possibly an issue with the current AMDGPU-Pro driver only running with OpenCL 1.2? I could roll back one of my windows machines to an older driver to test, but I thought I would see if anyone else is seeing the same thing first.
