After I've upgrade to 6.12.23, i've the same issue.
I guest you activate some works for version 6.12.22, that would be great if you can do the same for 6.12.23.

im running Linux Ubuntu 10.04.2 (the latest LTS) on 64 bits.
I've an ATI 5970.
I can run BOINC version 6.10.56 without any issue.

While I was testing 6.12.22, im getting:

Tue 19 Apr 2011 10:22:04 PM EDT | Collatz Conjecture | Message from server: collatz is not available for your type of computer.

But I've noticed, i've downloaded, but even if im going in my BOINC manager help tab, i only see x86 (and not x86-64).
Is it a bug in that new version or a problem with collatz?

Also, is there any plan to fully supports x86, since it was flagged experimental long time ago (in optimized applications).

I might change the validator to grant a little more credit to the large ones to encourage people to run those instead of the mini ones (either that or reduce the credit a little for the smaller ones). I'm sure people would complain that they are being penalized for not having newer faster equipment that can run the longer ones. But you can't please all of the people all of the time...

+1 for me.

I've a 5970 dedicated to BOINC, that could be a good reason to swich that machine from DNETC to collatz.

When running 24/7, at the end, the result between project should be similar for the same hardware.
