lol your wrong pauli think it would be usefull
I do run mw and collatz as you allready know, i need to set the buffer minimal at 0,60 for get enough MW units (12).
But i don't want too much collatz units also since i switch between them, but i get at least 90 units when i set it to 0,10 and that gives me 1 or 2 mw units
if i set it higher for the full 12 i get 120 or even more collatz units at 0,60
So i am constant pausing one or the other to get it a bit even out.
As long as boinc does not switch gpu projects it keeps running only 1 of them.
If it would switch there is another problem since MW units get killed(error) if switching when they are running, Wm units can't be restarted.

I have the same problem.... that is why I have this request ....

I have the proposal.

Is it posibble, to add field in preferences of the CC for the user to decide how many boinc is supposed to download WU up to the maximum limit determined by the administrator, for example from 1 to 120 for GPU.

???

YES, INDEED WE ARE ALL CREDIT HUNTERS

I am proud of every hunted credit!

In Polish for Poles...

PEACE!

MilkyWay serwer start sending new WU, so Collatz server load will reduce....

Ati users (B@P) will go back there - more credit :)

Slicker,

I would like to thank you for the good 2.01 CUDA application and good number of credit you are giving for WU.

For GeForce users Collatz Conjecture is now best credit per WU project.

Thanks.

My GeForce now support Collatz Conjecture as main project!

2 day's of crunching and no errors :) Nice work!

It isn't that you can't validte, it is that 3 people had errors and none of the other 3 had matching results. Look at the total steps calculated. Every one of them is different.

Of the "valid" results, two are CUDA and one is ATI. The only way to tell which one is correct is to go back to an older version of the app for a comparison. Then the fun begins in figuring out why the new app is returning incorrect result.

Thanks for the response!
In that case these errors are only temporary.
When everyone will go to the 2.0 application and new WU's thing should not take place.

This is first processed WU after ataching new host.

Any tips?

LOL....

Why on 64 bit Vista, 64 bit collatz CUDA app 1.10 runs in 32 bit mode?!

Actually, the WU took a lot longer than the 0.14 seconds CPU time you see there (about 9 minutes on a GTX260).
Furthermore you are running the 32bit version of the application. The algorithm benefits a lot of the parallel processing capabilities of a GPU (which has hundreds of processing units!) as well as from processing larger chunks of data with a 64bit application.
