Your personal background. |
Professionally, I'm an IT manager for the National Radio Astronomy Observatory in Socorro, NM. I'm responsible for NRAO's computing infrastructure in the state of New Mexico, as well as systems in Hawaii, Washington, California, Arizona, Texas, Iowa, Virginia, and the US Virgin Islands (San Croix).
I'm into BOINC computing projects, motorcycles (Harley Davidsons), photography, metal music, and ranch living. |
Your opinions about Collatz Conjecture |
I discovered Collatz because it seems to grant the most BOINC credit of any project I've come across. I've been just flabbergasted by how quickly you can accumulate credit with Collatz and a handful of GPUs.
I try to divide my resources somewhat evenly between BOINC projects that do what I consider to be good science. |
